Job Summary
You will assist doctors and medical staff in daily workflows to ensure smooth operations and quality patient care by supporting patient measurements, procedure preparation, scheduling, enquiries, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Measure patients’ height and weight accurately to support medical assessments
- Explain medical procedures and provide clear instructions to patients to ensure understanding and compliance
- Prepare patients for medical procedures to facilitate smooth and efficient clinical operations
- Schedule patient appointments and scans to optimize clinic workflow and resource use
- Respond to general patient enquiries promptly to enhance patient experience and support
- Guide patients on using the self-registration kiosk to streamline check-in processes
- Maintain inventory of linen and consumables in storage and procedure rooms to ensure availability and readiness
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Ability to speak a second language or dialect(s) to communicate effectively with non-English speaking patients
- Pleasant disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient interactions
- Responsible and a good team player to contribute effectively within the healthcare team
- A general Diploma, GCE 'A' Level or equivalent educational qualification
