Own three mission-critical business functions at the intersection of energy procurement, client relationships, and renewable energy markets. This unique role gives you genuine commercial ownership of a growing portfolio while working across multiple stakeholders in Singapore's dynamic energy sector.
What You'll Own
1. Client Account Management
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts—building relationships, driving renewals and upsells, and ensuring exceptional service delivery
2. Singapore Electricity Retailer Partnerships
• Be AECO's primary contact with licensed retailers—maintaining competitive procurement partnerships and staying ahead of market developments
3. Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) Business
• Own commercial responsibility for AECO's REC portfolio (LGCs, I-RECs, TIGRs)—managing counterparty relationships, negotiations, contract adherence, and business growth
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience:
• Experience in renewable energy, energy procurement, or similar operational roles would be an advantage
• Proven track record managing commercial relationships
• Strong understanding of renewable energy certificates and their registry/compliance requirements would be an advantage
• Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field
Key Strengths:
• Skilled negotiator with credibility among wholesale market stakeholders
• Comfort with data management, registry systems, and managing multiple concurrent workstreams
• Ability to synthesize complex market information into clear briefings for non-specialist teams
• Knowledge of Singapore's wholesale electricity market and retailer landscape would be an advantage
