Position: Process & Operations Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $75–$100/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Build long-horizon ops-engineering tasks with deterministic rubrics for agent performance evaluation.
• Develop scenarios in process documentation including process flow diagrams and SOPs.
• Conduct yield and quality analyses with ground-truth defect rates and root-cause investigations.
• Create FMEAs and Six Sigma writeups with verifiable statistical outputs.
• Work independently and focus on challenging scenarios requiring long sessions of concentration.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• BS or MS in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years in process, operations, or manufacturing engineering.
• Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), SPC, FMEA, root cause methodology (5 Whys, fishbone, 8D).
• Proficiency in ops-engineering artifacts: process flows, SOPs, FMEAs, project charters, kaizen reports.
• Strong written communication skills for encoding reasoning into deterministic rubrics.
