Roles & ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced chef with strong operational ability to take on a hands-on Kitchen Lead role within a new premium residential food service environment in Singapore.
This is a hands-on cooking and management role within an open, customer-facing kitchen. The successful candidate must be confident preparing and overseeing food day to day, while also interacting professionally with clients, maintaining a calm and polished presence, and helping manage kitchen operations, standards, ordering, and team coordination. This is not a purely admin or back-of-house supervisory position.
The role would suit someone who has worked as a kitchen manager, head chef, sous chef, or similar, and who is comfortable taking ownership of both cooking and operational responsibilities in a small but growing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- leading day-to-day kitchen and food service operations
- actively preparing, cooking, and supporting service each day
- engaging confidently and professionally in an open customer-facing kitchen environment
- maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation
- managing ordering, stock control, and supplier coordination
- helping put in place systems, structure, and day-to-day operating procedures
- supporting, guiding, and developing junior team members as the team grows
- working closely with management during the setup and opening phase
- remaining flexible and adaptable as the operation develops and new roles are introduced
We are looking for someone who is:
- hands-on and confident in a cooking role
- comfortable speaking with clients and working in a customer-facing environment
- organised, reliable, and able to lead by example
- calm under pressure and confident in a structured, high-standard environment
- experienced in some form of international cuisine
- passionate about health-focused food and quality ingredients
- flexible and comfortable working within a new setup with a small team that will grow over time
