Job Summary

You will collaborate closely with heart and vascular doctors to deliver quality clinical care in an outpatient setting, performing diagnostic cardiac tests and supporting staff training.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms in clinic and prepare detailed reports for doctors to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Conduct other non-invasive cardiac investigations including electrocardiograms, exercise treadmill tests, Holter monitor attachment and analysis, and tilt testing to assist in comprehensive cardiac assessment
• Train clinic staff on performing non-invasive cardiac tests to ensure consistent quality and accuracy
• Work independently with confidence to manage clinical tasks and support patient care effectively

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Science (Biology/Physiology) or Diploma in Medical Technology/Biotechnology as foundational knowledge for clinical tasks
• Proven experience as an echocardiogram technician to perform core diagnostic procedures accurately
• Competency in conducting other diagnostic cardiac investigations to support comprehensive patient evaluation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience to enhance clinical proficiency and autonomy
