Regional Sales Director - Taiwan and SEA
Location: Taiwan/ Hongkong/ Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
Distributor Management:
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with master distributors and key partners.
- Conduct product training, develop pricing strategies, and set service standards to ensure distributors meet sales targets.
- Oversee the execution of distribution agreements, including product placement, pricing, and promotional activities.
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Develop a deep understanding of regional markets, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- Create and implement tailored channel management strategies for each country and region.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and drive strategic actions.
Sales Forecasting and Revenue Management:
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and achieve designated sales targets for the region.
- Manage the regional Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring profitability and cost effectiveness.
- Regularly review sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet revenue goals.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain regular communication with regional stakeholders, including distributors, internal teams, and partners.
- Provide feedback, address issues, and offer solutions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, production, logistics) to meet customer needs and ensure high-quality product delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or distributor management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing regional P&L.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior in Taiwan, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required; additional languages are a plus.
