The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven, hands-on Business Development & Partnerships Associate to support and execute the day-to-day activities of our B2B sales and partnerships engine.
You will work directly with the Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Lead to build pipeline, engage prospects, support deal flow, and execute outreach strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who:

Mission of the Role
Support the execution and growth of InnerWork Circle’s B2B revenue engine by:
- Generating and qualifying leads
- Supporting outreach and pipeline building
- Coordinating proposals and client interactions
- Driving consistency and discipline in sales execution
Your role is to turn strategy into consistent daily action and pipeline into results.
Key Responsibilities
1.Lead Generation & Prospecting (Core Focus)
- Identify and research target companies, industries, and decision-makers
- Build prospect lists across priority segments
- Execute outbound outreach via:
-LinkedIn
-Email
-Eventsand networking - Initiate conversations and generate interest from potential clients
2. Pipeline Management & CRM Discipline
- Maintain and update CRM systems with leads, contacts, and deal progress
- Track pipeline stages and ensure accurate data hygiene
- Follow up consistently with prospects to move deals forward
- Support the Lead in managing pipeline visibility and reporting
3. Sales Support & Deal Execution
- Support preparation of proposals, decks, and client materials
- Coordinate meetings, discovery calls, and follow-ups
- Take notes and track action items from client conversations
- Assist in moving deals from qualification to closure
4. Partnerships & Relationship Building
- Support outreach to partners including:
-Founder communities
-Corporate networks
-HR / L&D stakeholders - Maintain ongoing communication with partners and prospects
- Help identify new partnership opportunities
5. Event & Activation Support
- Support execution of B2B events, workshops, and corporate engagements
- Assist in pre-event outreach and post-event follow-ups
- Help convert event participants into pipeline opportunities
6. Operational & Administrative Support
- Ensure smooth execution of outreach campaigns and sales processes
- Manage scheduling, coordination, and documentation
- Support weekly reporting and pipeline tracking
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have
o 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing (or strong internship experience)
o Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
o High attention to detail and strong execution discipline
o Resilient, proactive, and comfortable with outreach and rejection
o Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Strongly Preferred
o Exposure to B2Bsales, partnerships, or client-facing roles
o Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and CRM tools
o Interest in leadership, personal growth, or transformation space
o Experience supporting proposals or client presentations

What Success Looks Like
Within 3-6 months, you will have:
o Independently manage outreach and lead generation
o Build a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
o Become a reliable operator supporting deal flow and conversions
o Develop strongB2B sales and partnership fundamentals
o Progress toward managing accounts or closing smaller deals
