Fundraising & Partnerships Executive (Animal Welfare) - West [GC]

Roles & Responsibilities

Working hours: Office hours. Candidates may be required to support weekend events or organisational activities when necessary. Time off in lieu will be provided accordingly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising plans aligned with the organisation’s objectives and priorities.
• Drive fundraising initiatives and campaigns to support revenue growth and diversify funding sources.
• Prepare and monitor reports related to fundraising activities, including budget utilisation and fundraising outcomes.
• Maintain proper records and documentation of fundraising activities and donations received.
• Provide regular updates on fundraising performance and ongoing initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with donors, sponsors, supporters, and community partners.
• Manage sponsorship programmes and donation channels, including doggie box collections.
• Develop donor engagement and stewardship initiatives to support donor retention and recurring giving.
• Identify opportunities to reconnect with previous donors and strengthen support from existing contributors.
• Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns from planning to execution.
• Ensure fundraising activities comply with relevant policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with corporate partners, community groups, educational institutions, and other stakeholders on fundraising initiatives and partnerships.
• Explore grant and co-funding opportunities with suitable organisations to support organisational sustainability.
• Represent the organisation at networking events and community engagements where required.
• Support ad-hoc events and organisational initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Prior experience in fundraising, partnerships, events, or related functions is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Passion for animal welfare and community engagement.
