Our client is a well-established financial markets platform with a strong international footprint and growing institutional capabilities across Asia Pacific. As part of its continued expansion in the region, the firm is investing in its institutional business and seeking a commercially driven professional to join its Singapore team.
This opportunity sits within a growing regional platform focused on institutional partnerships, offering exposure across broker relationships, banks, hedge funds, fintechs, and trading counterparties. The role provides strong regional visibility and the chance to work closely with senior leadership in shaping institutional growth across APAC.
Responsibilities
- Drive institutional business development initiatives across the APAC region.
- Identify and develop relationships with brokers, banks, hedge funds, and institutional trading counterparties.
- Originate and execute partnership opportunities including API solutions, White Label partnerships, and Introducing Broker arrangements.
- Develop new revenue opportunities across FX, CFDs, and broader derivative products.
- Manage regional sales pipelines independently, leveraging market networks and strategic outreach.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and work closely with legal, compliance, and dealing teams to onboard clients successfully.
- Analyse market trends, competitor positioning, and institutional client requirements to strengthen market presence.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders including Sales Trading and Operations teams to ensure strong client delivery and retention.
- Contribute to broader sales strategy, market expansion initiatives, and process improvements across the institutional business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in institutional sales, business development, or relationship management within financial markets.
- Strong understanding of FX, CFDs, derivatives, and institutional trading solutions.
- Existing network across brokers, banks, hedge funds, or institutional clients within APAC is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business opportunities and manage complex client relationships.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to negotiate and structure partnership agreements.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across regional markets.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Additional regional language capabilities will be viewed favourably.
