Shipping & Logistic Executive (West Area / Manufacturing / LC)

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate and manage freight forwarders for all deliveries.

• Prepare and issue logistics/ purchase requisition.

• Monitor freight forwarder performance and perform cost reduction initiatives in all logistics activities.

• Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely delivery as stipulated in the contract/ purchase order.

• Prepare and handle full set of shipping documents including LC documentation, COO, Insurance, delivery order, packing list, commercial invoice, monthly reports etc.

• Coordinate with Finance team on shipping payment, invoices, warranty and LC negotiation.

• Monitor and update delivery status on weekly basis.

• Compile reports for management review.

• Coordinate on delivery inspection and expediting works.

• Interact and communicate with internal and external customers on order/ delivery status.

• Other projects and ad-hoc duties as per assigned.

• Participate in HSE matters

• Ensure activities in comply with the HSE policy, objectives, and procedures.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in related discipline or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of related experience within the industry.

• Experience working with ERP, AX, or other documentation software.

• Freight and logistic handling

• Letter of credit management
