Job Summary

Prepare a variety of Indian dishes and manage bulk cooking for canteen operations while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene standards. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dosa, idli, meals, chutney, sambar, fried rice, and tea items to meet quality standards
• Manage bulk cooking tasks efficiently for canteen operations
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and uphold food hygiene standards consistently
• Handle stock and ingredients accurately to support food preparation
• Adapt to shift work, including weekends and public holidays, as required
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth kitchen workflow and operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience cooking Indian cuisine
• Experience working in an Indian restaurant or canteen environment
