Electrical / Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer | Chemical Plant

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Perform electrical, instrumentation and control system maintenance activities for plant, process or industrial equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair works.
• Maintain electrical systems, motors, control panels, sensors, transmitters, instruments, PLC, automation and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation faults to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support equipment installation, testing, commissioning, modification and improvement works.
• Coordinate with operations, production, maintenance teams, contractors and vendors.
• Assist in maintenance planning, inspection, servicing and technical documentation.
• Support plant reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure all works comply with safety, quality, environmental and company requirements.
• Prepare maintenance records, service reports, inspection checklists and related documents.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in electrical, instrumentation, E&I, equipment maintenance or industrial maintenance.
• Candidates from chemical, petrochemical, process plant, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or industrial environment are welcome.
• Knowledge of motors, control panels, PLC, sensors, transmitters, automation systems or instrumentation will be an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation faults and provide practical solutions.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment installation or commissioning will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work, risk assessment or plant safety procedures will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Senior Technicians with strong hands-on electrical / E&I maintenance experience may be considered.
