Roles and Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and ensure optimal functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose issues, carry out repairs or coordinate with contractors as needed.
- Monitor building automation systems (BAS), fire alarms and energy usage to maintain efficiency and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead and train a team of technicians; assign tasks and ensure quality control.
- Supervise external contractors and approve permits, risk assessments and work methods.
- Organize technician schedules for 24 / 7 coverage and respond to emergencies.
- Maintain records, prepare reports and manage inventory and procurement.
- Support budgeting, system upgrades and facility improvement projects.
- Stay current with industry best practices and mentor junior staff.
Qualification Requirements
Minimum Nitec in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Built Environment.Preferred Skills
