Key Responsibilities
• Conduct QA/QC inspections for fabrication, installation, and welding works at site.
• Perform visual inspection of welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material traceability.
• Carry out inspection on piping, structural, and mechanical installation works.
• Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors on quality matters.
• Monitor Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities such as RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT.
• Ensure all inspection and testing activities comply with project quality plans and international standards.
• Participate in site inspections, audits, and punch list clearance.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are properly implemented.
Requirements
• Minimum Diploma / Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant QA/QC and welding inspection experience.
• Familiar with welding codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Able to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, marine, or fire protection projects preferred.
Preferred Certifications
• CSWIP
• PCN
• ASNT
• STCW
• Welding Inspector / NDT Level II certification will be an added advantage.
