Junior Quantity Surveyor (Renovation & Interior Fit-Out)

Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor (Renovation& Interior Fit-Out) to support our renovation and interior fit-out projects. You will be involved in tender preparation, cost control, procurement coordination, and project close-out, working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Tender Stage

• Prepare competitive cost estimates and tender submissions within client budgets and timelines
• Conduct competitor and industry cost analysis and regularly review the company Schedule of Rates
• Follow up with clients on tender submission status and update the Quotation List regularly
• Work closely with the Business Development and QS teams to review and prioritise tender opportunities

Project Stage

• Prepare and submit material Purchase Requisitions via ERP system
• Coordinate with Project Managers and procurement teams to ensure purchases align with project budget and schedule
• Liaise with insurance companies regarding coverage requirements and procurement needs
• Track and document design changes and maintain Variation Order records
• Work with Project Managers to monitor project progress and prepare progress claims and billing in accordance with contract terms
• Assist in project close-out, ensuring all works and Variation Orders are completed and properly billed
• Submit retention claims after the Defect Liability Period

Requirement

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in renovation and fit-out works in Singapore (ID & joinery)
• Technical understanding of joinery detailing and renovation & fit-out works in Singapore is an advantage
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Based in Singapore and available for a physical interview
• Willing to work additional hours when required to meet project timelines
