After School Care Staff - Hougang

Roles & Responsibilities

Contract Period: From 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 with an option to extend the contractfor another year

Working hours:
· Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays and gazetted school holidays for secondary schools (Youth Day, Teachers’ Day)

Scope of Services:
· Provide administrative support related to student management matters (e.g. confiscation of handphones, recording names of late comers etc).
· Draft student reports and maintain proper records/case files.
· Manage the after-school room where a small group of students may drop by to engage in activities.
· Design and curate activities to engage these students in the afternoons, working in partnership with school staff.

Qualification, Skill & Experience:
· Must be registered with Ministry of Education (REMS)
· Academic qualification: at least Diploma
· At least 2 years of relevant work experience
· Pleasant disposition and people-oriented
· Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
· Prior work experience with students in schools will be an added advantage
