The Opportunity

• Opportunity to work for one of the leading financial service providers and top banks
• 6 months contract

1. Business Function

Our client is a leading regional bank with a strong presence across Asia. Within the Consumer Banking data chapter, the team drives data-led decision making by delivering actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions.

They are seeking a Data Analyst (6-month contract) to support ongoing analytics initiatives and business insights generation.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Provide ad-hoc data analysis and insights to support business decision-making across consumer banking initiatives
• Design, build, and maintain data analytics solutions and dashboards to track performance and identify trends
• Work with large datasets to uncover actionable insights and opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical outputs
• Support ongoing data projects, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation of analytics processes

3. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience in a data analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in Python and/or other analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
