About the role
CHL Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a competent Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Fresh graduates are welcome.
What you'll be doing
Preparing accurate estimates and cost plans for construction projects
Analysing tender submissions and contract documents to identify potential risks and opportunities
Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
Monitoring and controlling project costs, including the preparation of financial reports
Providing advice and support to project managers and other team members
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve technical issues
What we're looking for
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Singapore construction industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
Knowledge of construction contracts and regulations
Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
