Bunker Operations Executive (Marine & Shipping)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced bunker operations professional to manage daily vessel operations, documentation, and compliance across Singapore port activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily bunker operations and vessel schedules to ensure smooth execution
• Liaise with vessel masters, barge operators, surveyors, suppliers, and port authorities on delivery arrangements
• Monitor bunker loading and discharging activities for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
• Prepare, review, and verify operational documentation including BDN, cargo documents, delivery reports, port documents, and Statements of Facts
• Track vessel movements and provide timely operational updates to customers
• Record and reconcile cargo quantities, fuel transfers, and inventory movements accurately
• Conduct spot checks to ensure safety, regulatory, and operational compliance
• Coordinate with internal teams on operational issues, discrepancies, claims, and delays
• Manage post-fixture operational matters and resolve day-to-day operational challenges
• Maintain proper documentation, filing systems, and operational records
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management
• Support emergency response and incident handling when required
• Perform other ad-hoc operational duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in bunker operations, shipping operations, tanker operations, or the maritime industry
• Familiarity with Singapore port operations and bunker procedures is an added advantage
• Knowledge of maritime documentation and end-to-end operational processes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
