Job description
You will lead in the planning design and development of smart port infrastructure and intelligent buildings. Working with consultants agencies external partners and internal stakeholders in formulating strategies and solutions you will manage the projects from conceptualisation to completion. You will also contribute towards PSA environmental sustainability efforts through the exploration and adaptation of more green technology.
Main responsibilities include:
- Managing entire project from initial feasibility to final building/infrastructure handover
- Overseeing tender bidding and construction process
- Managing external Architect M&E/Civil Consultant contractors end-users and Management
- Reviewing architectural and structural plans ensuring alignment with business intent local requirements project timeline and budget considerations
- Translating high-level business goals into tangible project requirements
- Overseeing submission of development applications to local regulatory bodies by consultants securing necessary development permits
- Managing fund allocation and projects financial health
- Progress management and reporting
Requirements
- Degree inCivil Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of managerial experience in infrastructure planning and construction with good track record of successful projects
- Experience in port or marine related sector will be an added advantage
- Good leadership and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Goal oriented
