Project Engineer (Engineering and Project Management)

Roles & Responsibilities

• To be able to work in an engineering and construction team carrying out construction of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Process) projects, lead by a senior project engineer or manager.
• Minimum 5 years in relevant working experience in the construction industry, preferably with working experience working in cleanrooms and other electronics and semiconductor plants.
• Candidates are preferred to have Design and Build experience in ACMV, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and I&C.
• Works are mostly in 'live' production plants in the semiconductor, technology, and manufacturing industries in the field of Mechanical, Electrical and Process engineering.
• To lead a team of sub-contractors to the execute construction works.
• Supervision on site and coordination with sub-contractors and their workers.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely as per requirements of the Workplace Safety and Health Council.
• Ensure that all construction work comply with project specifications, procedures, and requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor site progress in accordance to schedule, and report back accordingly to your project lead.
• Participate in Testing and Commissioning of the completed installations with customers, sub-contractors, and/or consultants.
• Able to work with fellow engineers and other project team members
• Able to communicate effectively with client, consultants, and sub-contractors
• Able to work in a construction environment
• Able to work independently at sites.
• Able to use basic MS Office and email
• Able to read construction drawings especially for Mechanical, Electrical, and Process drawings
• Some form of experience in risk management, and other EHS requirements as per Workplace Safety and Health Council is prefable.
• To participate in company's various work improvement programs and other related matters
