Trinity Methodist Church is seeking a passionate, spiritually mature Christian to join our Pastoral Team as the Lay Ministry Staff for our Children's Ministry. If you have a heart for nurturing the next generation and want to make a lasting kingdom impact, we want to hear from you!
About the Role
In this vital role, you will work closely with church leadership to oversee and guide the strategic direction of the Children's Ministry. Your core focus will be on discipleship, innovation in teaching, equipping volunteers, and reaching un-churched children in our community.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spiritual Nurture
- Provide pastoral leadership, care, and discipleship for children, teachers, and volunteers.
- Coordinate weekly ministry activities, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and loving environment where children come to know Christ.
- Lead outreach and evangelism efforts targeting un-churched and pre-believer children in the neighbourhood (especially Serangoon Gardens and Serangoon North).
2. Planning and Organising
- Oversee and align the Children's Ministry with the church's vision and seasonal focus.
- Source, develop, and implement engaging curriculum, while exploring new learning pedagogies.
- Recruit, train, and equip our dedicated pool of teachers and volunteers.
- Manage ministry administration, including budgeting and facility coordination.
Qualification
1. Spiritually Mature Christian, who loves the Lord
2. Passionate and has a heart to disciple
3. Theological training is an advantage
4. Able to work independently
5. Good team leader and player, good with people and communication skills
6. Good organisational skills and planning
Remuneration
· $3,700 - $5,00
