Job description
Responsibilities Assist the Qualified Person (Architect) [QP(Arch)] in supervising architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, statutory requirements, and quality standards Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship, and material quality. Coordinate with Resident Engineers (REs), Resident Technical Officers (RTOs), consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve site and design-related issues. Monitor the integration of architectural works with structural and M&E systems and attend site coordination meetings. Review and recommend approval of shop drawings, material submissions, samples, and mock-ups to ensure compliance with the design intent. Inspect architectural finishes and completed works, identify non-compliances or defects, and recommend corrective actions.Maintain site records, inspection reports, photographic documentation, and progress updates for the QP(Arch) and project team. Assist in the preparation and verification of architectural as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with the Building Control Act, Singapore Building Codes, BCA regulations, and the requirements of relevant authorities (e.g., URA, NEA, and SCDF). Support the QP(Arch) in statutory inspections, documentation, and authority submissions. Promote safe work practices and ensure architectural works comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a recognised institution. Registered Architect with the Board of Architects (BOA), Singapore, or possess equivalent qualifications recognised by the relevant authorities. Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience, preferably in the construction administration of building or infrastructure projects in Singapore. Good knowledge of Singapore building regulations, codes, and statutory submission procedures (e.g., BCA, URA, and SCDF). Strong understanding of construction methods, building materials, architectural detailing, and building systems. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents accurately. Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
