Site Engineer (Facade construction)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as the technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives;
• Ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials;
• Liaise with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project;
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
• Plan the work and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
• Oversee quality control, health, and safety matters on site;
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Requirement:

• Engineering background with at least 3 years of construction site experience;
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
• Knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques.
