Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Oversee and coordinate architectural works and installation activities on construction sites to ensure they are carried out in accordance with approved designs and project requirements.

• Coordinate with the project team and relevant parties to ensure proper scheduling, communication, and execution of architectural works.

• Develop, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, details, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

• Serve as the key point of contact for architectural-related matters on site and work with the relevant parties to identify and resolve technical issues and challenges.

• Collaborate with Project Managers, consultants, and management to ensure architectural works are properly coordinated and aligned with overall project objectives.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, workmanship, quality, and compliance with approved architectural drawings and specifications.

• Identify and follow up on site issues, discrepancies, and design coordination matters to ensure timely resolution.

• Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation relating to architectural coordination, site progress, and project matters.

• Maintain effective communication and coordination with clients, consultants, project team members, and other relevant parties throughout the project.

• Demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills to effectively coordinate architectural works and project requirements.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager, Project Director, or management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project coordination.

• Good knowledge and understanding of building regulations, statutory requirements, and relevant codes of practice.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

• Passionate about architecture and design, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.

• Demonstrates a strong design mindset and commitment to maintaining high standards of design quality.

• Proactive in promoting efficient and effective ways of working while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
