Junior Legal Associate / Legal Associate (Civil & Commercial Litigation)

Job description: Our client is a well-established legal practice in Singapore. seeking a Junior/Legal Associate to join its Civil & Commercial Litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators on a broad range of contentious matters, with structured mentoring and exposure to court proceedings. * Assist in managing civil and commercial litigation matters from commencement through to resolution. * Attend court hearings, Case Conferences, Pre-Trial Conferences, mediations and other litigation-related proceedings. * Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, written submissions, correspondence and Letters of Demand. * Conduct legal research and provide case analysis to support ongoing matters. * Prepare litigation bundles and manage court filings via eLitigation. * Liaise with clients, counsel and relevant stakeholders while ensuring matters progress efficiently. * Maintain accurate case records and monitor key litigation timelines. Qualifications: * Admitted (or eligible for admission) as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. * Newly Qualified (NQ) to 2 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in Civil, Commercial or General Litigation. * Practice Trainees with substantial litigation exposure are encouraged to apply. * Good understanding of Singapore civil procedure and the Rules of Court. * Familiarity with eLitigation and legal research platforms. * Strong legal drafting, analytical and communication skills. * Able to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and professionalism.
