Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up laboratory practicals and science experiments.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment, and inventory.
- Assist with stock-taking and replenish laboratory materials.
- Support science teachers during practical lessons and science programmes.
- Prepare teaching resources, including SPARKLE Kits.
- Perform basic administrative duties using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requirements:
- GCE 'O' Level qualification preferred (or relevant experience).
- Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in a school laboratory or similar environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Organised, responsible, and able to work independently.
Duration/Working hours:
1 year contract (Option to extend) Jan 2027 to Dec 2027
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 2:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
Base Year: (2027)
January to May & July to November : 10 months
June and December : 2 weeks (1 week/month)
Option Year: (2028)
January to May & July to November : 10 months
June and December : 2 weeks (1 week/month)
