Investment Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

This role is uniquely positioned as the first hire within the establishment, offering the opportunity to be a founding team member. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building the firm's infrastructure, setting the stage for future hires, and shaping the organization's culture and operational framework.

At the outset, this position is advisory in nature. The Investment Portfolio Manager will provide investment recommendations and analyses to the family principals, who will retain ultimate decision-making authority over investment actions. Over time, opportunities may arise to evolve this dynamic based on mutual trust and demonstrated performance.

The Investment Portfolio Manager will report to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform market research and financial analysis to identify investment opportunities.
• Recommend asset allocation among equities, bonds, VC / PE funds, and co-investments.
• Ensure portfolio compliance with MAS regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct due diligence on and monitor external fund managers' performance.
• Ensure accuracy in financial statements for PE Funds, track and forecast capital calls.
