About the Company
We are a growing interior design and fit-out company specializing in high-quality commercial interior projects, with a strong focus on F&B outlets, restaurants, cafés, and hospitality spaces. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Source, evaluate, and procure materials and products required for projects.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs throughout the fitting-out process to ensure they remain within budget.
- Prepare project cost reports, cost analysis, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Establish accurate costing for materials, installation, and labour to prepare competitive quotations.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors on production schedules, material samples, and project-related matters.
- Liaise with existing and prospective clients regarding quotations, project requirements, and order status.
- Follow up on quotations and support the sales process by converting opportunities into confirmed projects.
- Handle client enquiries, provide after-sales support, and resolve project-related issues.
- Maintain and analyse weekly and monthly quotation and sales performance reports.
- Perform other quantity surveying and project costing duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the interior fit-out or construction industry.
- Experience in interior design, architecture, commercial fit-out, or hospitality projects will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of project costing, tender preparation, procurement, and contract administration.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with quantity surveying or estimating software is an advantage.
