Established in 1987, Singapore Storage & Warehouse Pte Ltd (SSW) operates multiple warehouses in Singapore, including the designated rice stockpile warehouse. Through its subsidiary SSW Logistics Pte Ltd, it delivers seamless warehousing services and customized solutions for sustainable results.

Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will support the Operations Manager in project management as the main duty. This includes (but is not limited to) assisting with data compiling, analysis and reporting. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about warehouse operations and gain practical experience in using data for decision-making, preparing reports and solving and implementing projects. The selected candidate is expected to coordinate and work closely with other departments, as well as directly with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze operational data to support decision-making and improve warehouse processes
• Monitor project and operational progress independently to ensure timely completion
• Identify trends and recommend improvements during solutioning and post-implementation phases
• Organize and coordinate project activities for new business initiatives, including pre-work, implementation, and post-live stages
• Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to guide project execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met successfully
• Monitor project status, risks, and issues and assist in reporting to stakeholders

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum ITE qualification
• Proficiency in Excel to perform data analysis
• Ability to travel between sites and perform manual tasks safely

• Basic knowledge of warehousing or logistics operations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn
