Preschool Teacher - Chinese (L1/L2) - West/ North - WCDT

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct engaging lessons and learning activities for preschool children based on the curriculum.

Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment that supports children’s development and well-being.

Monitor and assess children’s learning progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.

Guide children in developing social, communication, and basic academic skills through play-based learning.

Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and classroom displays.

Ensure children’s safety and hygiene at all times, including during meals and outdoor activities.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, behaviour, and classroom activities.

Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive discipline practices.

Organize school events, activities, and celebrations to enhance student engagement.

Work closely with other teachers and school staff to support daily school operations and curriculum planning.

Maintain proper documentation and records related to students and classroom activities.

Perform any other duties assigned by the school management.

Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

ECDA certification/ licensing is required.

Passionate about teaching and nurturing young children.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Patient, caring, responsible, and able to work well with children.

Able to create a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment.

Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

Team player with a positive working attitude.

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
