Electrical Engineer (MNC Construction)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Design, review, and coordinate electrical systems for construction projects.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on materials, equipment, and installation requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and site activities to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Support the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and delivery.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering within construction, M&E, or building projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and technical drawings.
• Experience in site coordination, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with Singapore electrical standards and safety requirements is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; BIM/Revit knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced project environment.
