Join Ohmyhome as an Accounts Admin to manage daily financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and handle Claims Tribunals, supporting smooth financial administration and dispute resolution.
Responsibilities
Maintain full or partial sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), to ensure accurate financial records
Perform daily data entry of invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts into accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, or SAP to maintain up-to-date financial data
Prepare bank reconciliations and petty cash reports to verify financial accuracy and control cash flow
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports to support business decision-making
Ensure compliance with GST regulations and assist with GST submissions to meet statutory requirements
Act as the primary contact for claims filed against or initiated by the company, managing tribunal-related financial disputes
Prepare supporting documents for tribunal hearings to facilitate dispute resolution
Liaise with legal counsel and represent company in pre-trial mediation sessions to protect company interests
Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales and Operations to verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Assist with year-end audit preparations and statutory filings to ensure compliance and audit readiness
Required competencies and certifications
LCCI Diploma/Certificate in Accounting or equivalent, as mandated for accounting proficiency
Proven experience handling cases at the Small Claims Tribunals (SCT) in Singapore, essential for managing tribunal disputes
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative accounting role to perform core financial duties
Familiarity with Singapore’s financial reporting standards and GST regulations to ensure compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software to execute financial tasks accurately
High level of integrity and attention to detail to maintain accurate and trustworthy financial records
Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines to support efficient financial operations
