Position: WSHO

Working Week: 5 Days

Salary: SGD 6,500 – SGD 8,500 (Highly Negotiable)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A leading A1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced WSHO cum ECO to support Workplace Safety, Health and Environmental compliance across major building developments in Singapore.

The successful candidate will work closely with project management, site teams and subcontractors to maintain high safety and environmental standards throughout construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and implement Workplace Safety, Health and Environmental requirements across construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and environmental inspections.
• Identify workplace hazards and environmental risks and recommend appropriate control measures.
• Monitor contractors and site teams for compliance with WSH and environmental requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox meetings, safety briefings and awareness programmes.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety and environmental records, reports and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and relevant authorities on WSH and environmental matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across project operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Singapore WSH legislation and environmental requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or professional qualification in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Engineering, Construction or related discipline.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the relevant Singapore authority.
• Relevant WSH and environmental experience within the Singapore construction industry.
• Building construction or Main Contractor experience will be highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Singapore workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Strong site coordination, communication, reporting and stakeholder management capabilities.
