(Medical Device MNC) Application Specialist #HTJ

Roles & Responsibilities

The Application Specialist provides technical and applications expertise across the laboratory instrument portfolio, partnering with the Sales, Service, and Marketing teams to convert customer requirements into validated analytical solutions.

The role spans the full pre- and post-sales cycle from feasibility testing and product demonstrations collaborating with sales team. The specialist will also support onsite troubleshooting and customer training ensuring customers to achieve compliant, reliable results and full value from their instruments and services.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Applications Expertise

• Provide technical expertise for laboratory analytical solutions with scientific instruments and software tailored to customer requirements.

• Prepare feasibility and sample-analysis test reports for potential leads with collaboration of field sales team.

• Ensure all solutions comply with customer specifications, tolerances, and standard methods, supporting the correct integration of products and services.

Sales Support

• Support the sales process through sample analysis and system demonstrations.

• Perform effective in-house and onsite demonstrations that clearly showcase instrument applications and build customer confidence.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

• Deliver remote (telephonic) and onsite troubleshooting, including initial information gathering, evaluation of the issue, and provision of a clear solution roadmap to resolve customer problems.

• Provide reliable support to customers through tele-advice and onsite intervention.

Training & Enablement

• Conduct training sessions that help customers understand instrument applications, general operation, and underlying analytical theory.

• Assist in organizing marketing activities such as seminars and training courses to promote Laboratory instrument.

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

• Establish a strong support foundation in managing efficient laboratory workflows.

• Maintain a positive, professional, and responsible attitude in all customer and internal interactions.
