Manulife is seeking experienced Financial Services Consultants to join its established advisory team. As a Financial Services Consultant, you will deliver regulated financial advisory services covering protection, health, wealth accumulation, retirement, investment and legacy planning. You will conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses, develop tailored recommendations, build long-term client relationships and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct in accordance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations, fact-finding sessions and comprehensive financial needs assessments.
- Assess clients' risk profiles and formulate personalised financial planning recommendations.
- Advise clients on protection, health, wealth accumulation, retirement, investment and legacy planning.
- Develop and sustain long-term client relationships through networking, referrals and business development activities.
- Oversee ongoing client servicing, portfolio reviews and claims support.
- Keep client records, suitability assessments and regulatory documentation accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with compliance, underwriting and operations teams to provide an outstanding client experience.
- Meet agreed advisory activity and performance objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age (MAS regulatory requirement).
- Diploma* or higher.
- CMFAS certifications: RES5, M9, M9A and HI (M8/M8A advantageous).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in financial advisory, insurance, wealth management or financial planning.
- Proven ability to prospect, engage and establish lasting client relationships.
- Experience within a multi-product or multi-insurer advisory environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
- Professional, ethical and client-focused approach to financial advisory.
*Diploma must comprise a minimum of 900 study hours, be at least 50% examination assessed, and qualify for university admission.
