Contract Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Allowance + Bonus

Working days: 5.5 days

Location: Tagore Lane, project sites

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical contracts across their entire lifecycle—from award to final account settlement—while managing budgets, revenues, and cash flows.

• Evaluate contract documents, specifications, BOQs, and site instructions to assess commercial risks, scope changes, and cost impacts.

• Prepare, submit, and track progress claims, variation orders (VOs), extension of time (EOT) requests, and contractual claims.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and dispute resolutions with clients, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Procure and administer subcontracts, managing pricing, performance, material deliveries, and payment certifications.

• Collaborate closely with PMs, site engineers, procurement, and accounting teams to realign project execution with financial goals.

• Maintain rigorous contract documentation (claims, VO records, meeting minutes, and audit trails) and deliver regular financial updates to management.

Candidate Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• 3–5+ years of experience in electrical construction contract administration, QS, or commercial management (building/electrical installation projects preferred).

• Deep technical understanding of electrical systems (power, lighting, DBs, containment, T&C) alongside strong blueprint-reading skills.

• Solid command of contract administration principles, measurement standards, BOQs, variations, and claim processes.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills to effectively manage external stakeholders and internal teams.
