Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

• Job Title: Equipment Engineer

• Industry: Semiconductor

• Location: Tampines, Singapore

• Working Hours: 5 days/week, normal working hours

Main Responsibilities

• Managing equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement to ensure reliable operations.

• Diagnosing and resolving equipment faults and breakdowns to minimise production downtime.

• Monitoring equipment alarms and recurring issues, and analysing equipment performance for potential improvements.

• Conducting failure analysis, Pareto analysis, and weak-point analysis to identify and address equipment issues.

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, yield enhancement, and OEE improvement.

• Preparing technical reports and documentation on equipment performance, failures, and improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Diploma in Engineering with at least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience may also be considered.

• 2+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.

• Strong equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work overtime when required.
