Roles & Responsibilities
JOB:
Silversky Pte. Ltd. is a premier pet distribution leader dedicated to delivering top-tier pet nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle products across the region. As we accelerate our growth trajectory, we are launching an ambitious Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) initiative—creating a proprietary home-grown pet brand from concept to launch, with the goal of expanding into international markets.
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Brand Strategist Lead (OEM & Portfolio Expansion) to serve as the strategic architect and execution driver for this new brand. You will take ownership of the end-to-end brand management process: from foundational brand strategy, market positioning, and local pull-through to cross-functional alignment and global export strategies.
This role requires a unique balance of strategic brand building, financial/data discipline, dynamic project management, and cross-functional leadership.
Scope & Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy, Positioning & Localization
- Brand Creation & Launch: Lead the creation, positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity for Silversky’s new OEM pet brand.
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and pull through comprehensive launch plans tailored for the Singapore retail and digital ecosystem, establishing immediate market presence and brand preference.
- Global Intent & Regional Adaptation: Adapt brand guidelines and marketing assets for international markets while maintaining core brand equity and global compliance.
2. Portfolio Strategy & Business Planning
- Long-Range Planning: Partner with leadership to build long-range brand plans, business cases, margin targets, and growth opportunities for the OEM line.
- Performance & Data Analytics: Track key brand and commercial performance indicators. Translate sales data, market trends, and consumer insights into actionable recommendations using advanced Excel models and presentations.
- Cross-Brand Synergy: Identify opportunities to integrate the OEM brand alongside Silversky’s existing distribution portfolio without cannibalization.
3. Cross-Functional Execution & Stakeholder Management
- Inter-Departmental Alignment: Serve as the central hub connecting Operations, Procurement, Digital Marketing, Trade Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless product rollouts.
- Agency & Vendor Relations: Direct creative agencies, packaging designers, PR partners, and production vendors within allocated budgets and project timelines.
- Executive Updates: Prepare strategic recommendations, portfolio reviews, and executive-level presentations for senior leadership updates.
Education & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in brand management, brand building, or GTM execution. Experience in FMCG, pet care, consumer goods, or retail export is a strong advantage.
- Track Record: Proven success taking a project, product line, or brand from early-stage concept through successful market launch and growth.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong affinity for numbers, data analysis, and financial planning. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to articulate business cases clearly.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-faceted projects, complex timelines, and competing priorities under pressure.
- Strategic & Agile Mindset: Able to think macro-strategically about brand equity while remaining hands-on with daily execution.
- Digital & Technology Agility: Quick to adopt new technologies, digital tools, and data-driven insights to streamline brand workflows.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills to align internal teams, external partners, and overseas distributors.
- Global Perspective: Familiarity with or eagerness to learn international trade regulations, cross-border marketing, and market adaptation dynamics.
