Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Plan session on DaaS & SPA deployment for Citrix Cloud
• Verify Citrix Cloud onboarding and Admin portal access and Configure Identity and Access Management on Citrix Cloud
• Configure Citrix Workspace settings and deploy to endpoints as customer requirements
• Design and Administration and support of the VMware vSphere infrastructure including vSphere Horizon Components, ESXi hosts, Citrix XenDesktop, User profile management, and client backup solutions
• Plan CITRIX XenApp and XenDesktop deployment as per customer requirement
• Manage and upgrade Nutanix Platform
• Design and configure VMware vSphere infrastructure
• Perform VMware vSphere upgrade
• Create virtual Desktop and server templates based on interviews with customers
• Implement HP thin client provisioning solution based on Windows and Linux embedded for client deployments
• Secure ESXi vCenter server and vSphere virtual machines using ACL and Security policies
• Configure VMware vSphere vSS and vDS Policies
• Configure Advanced vSphere HA and DRS Features
• Design Plan, Deployment, and integration of Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop
• Configure provisioning server with High Availability in all virtualized infra
• Configure LAN & SAN connectivity with high availability for Nutanix, CISCO UCS and HP blade servers
• Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) document for all datacentre products
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as per vendor ‘s defined procedure
• Work with multiple virtualization products like VMware vSphere, Citrix Xenserver, Microsoft hyper v
• Migrate physical machine to virtual machine (P2V) and Virtual to Virtual (V2V) using VMware converter and platespin
• Migrate virtual infrastructure from older version to latest version
• Migrate VMs from vSphere standard switch to vSphere distributed switch VDS
• Analyse customer’s requirement and Preparing SOW for new project
• Create virtual desktop templates based on interviews with customers

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, backup, or data centre infrastructure.
• Proven hands-on experience in virtualization and data centre technologies.
• NCP-MCI (Professional) and/or VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional) certifications required
• Veeam Certified Engineer/HCIA-Storage/HCIP-Professional/Citrix Certified Engineer preferred
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong working attitude, responsible, committed, and able to work well with the team.
• Willingness and initiative to learn independently, keep up with new technologies, and continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
