Accountant/Senior Accountant (SAP | Construction | Bukit Timah)

Roles & Responsibilities

About our client: Our client is a leading specialist contractor in the building construction industry.

About the role:

• Oversee the financial and statutory accounting for the assigned entity.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including asset accounting, journal entry creation, account reconciliation, and year-end financial statements.
• Analyze work-in-progress (WIP) and offer recommendations on project profitability and cost optimization.
• Calculate key financial metrics and conduct trend analyses of financial data.
• Participate in the development of group budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely filing.
• Manage tax-related responsibilities, including quarterly GST submissions and corporate tax filings.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed, which may include reviewing policies and procedures.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and 2 years of consolidation experience at Group Level.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP system.
• Detail-oriented
• Capable fo working independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

• Work location: Bukit Timah (short walking distance to Sixth Avenue MRT station)
• Working days: 5 days
