Accountant (12-Month Contract)

Roles & Responsibilities

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with at least 3 years of relevant experience to support financial reporting, month-end closing, audits, tax compliance, cash reporting, and daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. (This is a contract position for a period of 12 months.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end closing and financial reports.

• Assist with audits, statutory accounts, and XBRL reporting.

• Support daily cash reporting.

• Process journal entries for rebates, claims, and expenses.

• Track foreign source income and expenses and assist with related tax filings.

• Support and review AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), and fixed asset activities.

• Handle banking-related tasks.

• Participate in monthly stock counts.

• Support system implementation, improvements and process enhancements.

• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or professional accounting qualification.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn.

• Prior supervisory experience will be an added advantage.
