Science Lab Assistant (Punggol)

Looking for an experienced Science Lab Assistant to support the smooth operation of the school's Science laboratories.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare resources and equipment for Science lessons and experiments
• Assist teachers with laboratory resources during lessons
• Maintain records of lab usage, resources and activities
• Conduct inventory checks and ensure lab equipment and resources are adequately stocked
• Assist with maintaining the school garden and hydroponics system
• Conduct safety checks and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Work closely with the Head of Department and Level Head Science

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level
• At least 3 years of experience as a Science Lab Assistant in a school environment
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and support teachers and students effectively

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Option to extend) Jan 2027 to Dec 2027

Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 2pm (with 30 mins lunch break)
Service required from 7.30am to 2pm (with 30 mins lunch break) on
certain school holidays (2 days during March holidays, 2 days during
Sep holidays, 6 days during Jun holidays and 6 days during Dec
holidays)
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public
holidays, school holidays (except those specified above) and days
when school is not operating (eg: PSLE marking days, PSLE Oral
and Listening Comprehension, Youth Day, Children's Day, etc)
