Tax Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a growing professional services firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its Singapore team.

This is a hands-on and commercially focused role combining Singapore corporate tax compliance, tax advisory, client management and team leadership. You will work closely with business owners and senior management ,providing practical advice on tax matters that impact their business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide Singapore corporate tax advisory to SMEs and growing businesses.
• Advise clients on tax planning, restructuring, group reorganisations and cross-border transactions.
• Review corporate tax computations, ECI, Form C-S/Form C and other tax filings.
• Handle IRAS queries, audits and tax investigations.
• Review tax positions and identify tax risks and optimisation opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with business owners and senior management.
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of tax professionals and review their work.
• Identify and develop additional tax advisory opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
• Work closely with Corporate Secretarial, Accounting and other professional teams on client matters.
• Improve tax processes, workflows and the use of technology and automation.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Taxation or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of Singapore corporate tax experience, preferably within an accounting or professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Singapore Corporate Income Tax, ECI, Form C-S/Form C and IRAS regulations.
• Experience across both tax compliance and tax advisory.
• Exposure to tax planning, corporate restructuring and cross-border tax matters.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring tax professionals.
• Strong client relationship, communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable engaging with business owners and senior management.
• Commercially minded with the ability to identify value-added advisory opportunities.
