Product Manager - Trading/FinTech

Recruit123 is inviting experienced Product Managers specializing in trading technologies and FinTech platforms

In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle—defining product vision, crafting PRDs, collaborating with quant/engineering teams, and driving the delivery of low-latency trading features, execution algorithms, and market access tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and sprint prioritization for trading platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), or retail/institutional investment products.

• Translate complex trading workflows, regulatory mandates, and business goals into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, quantitative analysts, UI/UX designers, and infrastructure teams to build scalable, resilient, and low-latency trading features.

• Partner with compliance, legal, and operational risk stakeholders to ensure products align with MAS regulatory expectations and financial market conduct standards.

• Drive the design and enhancement of key trading functionalities, such as advanced order types, algorithmic execution strategies, real-time market data feeds, and margin/risk engines.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including trading volume, daily active traders (DAU), conversion rates, latency metrics, and client platform retention.

• Conduct user research, competitor benchmarking, and client feedback sessions across institutional desks, market makers, and retail active traders.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 4 to 7 years of product management experience within electronic trading platforms, wealthtech/brokerage apps, digital asset exchanges, or investment banking technology.

• Solid understanding of financial markets, asset classes (equities, FX, crypto, perpetuals, or futures), order types, and market microstructure.

• Technical fluency with APIs (REST, WebSocket, FIX protocol), matching engine concepts, and cloud-native architectures.

• Proficiency in data-driven product discovery using SQL, analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4), and agile tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge complex technical architecture and commercial business logic.
