Senior Project Engineer (HVAC) | Up to $5,500 + Allowances + Bonus

Roles & Responsibilities

Salary: S$5,500 + Mobile Allowance + Performance Bonus

(Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.)

Working Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm

Work Location: Ang Mo Kio

Transport Reimbursement Provided

Key Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from planning and design through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, sub-contractors and internal departments on schedules, shop drawings, material approvals, site meetings and equipment deliveries.

• Review system designs and specifications to ensure compliance, performance and constructability.

• Appoint and manage sub-contractors, including defining scopes of work, monitoring performance and processing claims and payments.

• Ensure site safety and regulatory compliance, including compliance with the Factory Act and BOWEC requirements.

• Monitor project progress, costs, budgets, forecasts and financial reports, including the submission of monthly progress claims.

• Supervise final testing and commissioning and prepare as-built drawings, handover documents, operation and maintenance manuals and related project reports.

• Establish maintenance service programmes during the Defects Liability Period and perform other duties assigned by the superior.
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Experience in project handling, preferably involving air-conditioning, chiller or HVAC systems.

• Prior project management experience in ACMV is strongly preferred, with several years of experience in relevant project roles.

• Technical experience and construction background are required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

• Comfortable handling projects from planning and coordination through to testing, commissioning and handover.
