Roles & Responsibilities

About the role

You will have the opportunity to help shape, influence and drive the tax practice. As a member of the tax leadership team, you will play a strategic role in delivering exceptional client service, driving business growth and developing our people.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients in tax compliance and advisory engagements and act as a trusted adviser to clients,providing commercially focused tax solutions while leading a team of tax professionals and contributing to the growth of the tax practice.

You will monitor emerging tax development, regulatory changes and industry best practices and assess their implications and opportunities, conduct seminars and webinars for clients and staff

Requirements

· A recognised degree or relevant professional qualification

· Singapore Chartered Tax Professional (SCTP)accreditation is preferred

· 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in taxation, including significant exposure gained in large or mid-tier international accounting firms

· Technical knowledge of the shipping and maritime sector will be highly advantageous

· Strong technical expertise with sound commercial and business acumen and hands on approach to client engagements with the ability to multi task.
