Legal Counsel (In-House) / Logistics & Supply Chain / West

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client, an established player in the Supply Chain Management industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Legal Counsel (In-House) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to business stakeholders on corporate, commercial, operational, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, service, procurement, employment, and lease contracts.
• Support contract negotiations and ensure legal risks are identified and appropriately managed.
• Assist with corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, company secretarial support, and regulatory filings.
• Support mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring, due diligence exercises, and inter-company agreements when required.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide practical guidance to ensure business compliance.
• Review internal policies, procedures, and business practices to strengthen governance and risk management.
• Liaise with external legal advisors on legal matters, disputes, regulatory issues, and litigation where required.
• Prepare legal documentation, reports, presentations, and meeting materials for management and internal stakeholders.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties/legal improvement initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Law, or a related discipline.
• Min 2–4 years of relevant legal experience in commercial, corporate, or in-house legal functions.
• Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and legal documentation.
• Good understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal matters.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, contract drafting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across different functions.
