Construction Project Coordinator
Roles & Responsibilities
This attachment position reports to the Project Manager and works closely with the design team, site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
AREA CONCEPT PTE LTD specialises in design and build interior solutions for residential and commercial projects. The organisation is committed to developing capable talents through structured on-the-job training and practical exposure in project coordination, site management, and construction workflow.
The individual will gain hands-on experience in coordinating renovation and interior fit-out projects, managing project documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and supporting the successful delivery of projects from planning to completion.
Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in:
Assist Project Managers in coordinating interior renovation and fit-out projects from commencement to completion.
Support daily site coordination activities, including monitoring work progress, quality standards, and project requirements.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, designers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, site records, and submission documents.
Support project planning activities, including tracking timelines, material deliveries, and project milestones.
Attend site meetings and assist in following up on project action items and requirements.
Gain exposure to workplace safety practices, construction procedures, and quality control standards.
Technical Skills and Competencies
Individual will gain experience in:
Understanding the workflow of interior renovation and design & build projects, including planning, coordination, execution, and handover stages.
Developing project coordination skills through communication with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
Learning basic interpretation of construction drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
Managing project documentation, progress tracking, and reporting using relevant project management tools.
Understanding construction materials, installation processes, and quality control requirements.
Developing problem-solving and decision-making skills through practical project exposure.
