Automotive Homologation Specialist
Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the homologation process for vehicles, ensuring compliance with local regulatory standards.
Prepare comprehensive homologation documentation and technical dossiers required for vehicle certification.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, testing laboratories and government agencies to facilitate vehicle approval processes.
Conduct technical assessments and gap analyses to identify compliance requirements.
Oversee vehicle testing and validation activities to ensure adherence to emission, safety and performance standards.
Maintain detailed records of homologation approvals, certificates and regulatory compliance documentation.
Identify regulatory changes and market requirements, providing recommendations on necessary vehicle modifications.
Collaborate with various teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely approvals.
Support the development and implementation of homologation strategies for new vehicle models.
Any other tasks as and when assign.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in automotive homologation, regulatory compliance or vehicle certification
Familiarity with homologation processes
Experience in preparing technical documentation, type approval applications and compliance reports
Proficiency in vehicle testing protocols and understanding of testing methodologies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with regulatory bodies and technical stakeholders
Strong organisational and project management capabilities with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with automotive management systems
Relevant automotive qualification or certification (such as training in homologation procedures or regulatory compliance) is preferred
Knowledge of Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) requirements is advantageous
